We deliver high strength steels in thickness range
0,80-60 mm as plates, sheets and coils. We are experts in materials for demanding applications where strength, durability and optimization of weight are essential.

With some of our hot-rolled steels, you benefit also from Ruukki's unique direct quenching (DQ) process, which produces an extremely hard and tough microstructure in the steel. The direct quenching process enables production of thinner materials, flexible and fast production and easy workshop processing.

Another benefit to our customers is the Dead Flat (DF) Process. In the DF Process, or straightening rolling, cut lengths are cold formed throughout their thickness resulting in a plastic, i.e. permanent deformation. At the same time, any residual stresses are relieved and the cut to length receives excellent flatness. Controlling welding distortions becomes easier and repeatability in flanging is improved. The DF process further improves the surface quality of some of our hot rolled steel (cut lengths) and lowers the roughness value of the surface finish.
